Whangarei Heads are well known as the ‘Jewel in the crown’ of Whangarei District when it comes to walking tracks. The Bream Head/ Te Whara walk is recognised as one of only 6 top-day walks in New Zealand. The Mt Manaia walk is in the top 14 short walks in NZ so there’s certainly something for everyone.
Furthermore, you can choose to do very little and perhaps book our in-house masseuse or enjoy a chef’s in-house dinner.
